When it is downloaded it says press ok to quit and install, I do, the game exits but no install.
Whenever I start up the game again it asks the same thing and the game just exits and doesn't install.
- Fixed a modifier in the church steeple that was enabling snipers to fire at drastically increased rates.
- Fixed British infantry invincibility when capturing and reinforcing heavy weapons (Machine guns, mortars etc.) - Axis Knights Cross Holders have abilities arranged so that both Assault and Fire Panzerfaust are usable from the command panel.
I DON'T WANT THE PATCH, why can't I play on singleplayer without installing all this crap. Is there anyway I can install the patch or just get on the game without logging in?
you have to login online to play single player now, its the new way to stop piracy from relic.
It could be that the power was interrupted after the old version was uninstalled but before the new version files were registered.
This often causes a wide range of application and operating system problems.
I wouldnt no 100% since i only play online these days and completed the SP ages ago. After that, I made a shortcut of Relic on my Desktop and I can run it w/o steam, w/o the DVD in drive (as it fu**ing should run all the time). It might be worth buying the Steam complete pack when it's on 80% discount, for future safe storage. I was going to do a system restore, but I cannot get to it.The Co H 2 Collectors' Edition includes all 3 vanilla Co H games as well. Corday of the Internet Explorer forum site suggested that I put the DDS file and Attach files on this forum. I do have another computer with Vista, but I need the XP computer for work. I'm a real computer noob I don't know exactly what's going on but ill try to describe it, mostly I'm concerned about a keylogger though. Now, some steps might not matter, but I'm gonna note'em all, just in case. This time around, I installed in C:/Progam Files (x86) and downloaded all patches from the site Company of Heroes - Updates. After the last patch, I opened Steam and used the 'Add Non-Steam Game' Function. no disc activation needed, game went straight to 'User Login' Screen and I can play it now w/o any issues.
